Frequently Asked Questions

Once my scaffolding has been erected will you dismantle it at the end of my hire period?

Prior to dismantling we will always consult with you, as you may need it longer than your original hire period.

Do you hire out scaffolding only?

No, we are a supply and erect company.

What type of scaffolding do you use?

We use Cuplock System Scaffolding and conventional Tube & Fitting scaffolding. We have found these systems to be the most versatile.

Do you have liability insurance?

Yes, we carry full liability insurances.

What are your payment terms?

Terms vary from payment on erection to 14 days from erection, subject to a credit check. But we are happy to discuss terms with you.

I have a sky dish on my house, will this be a problem?

It can be. Once we have erected the scaffolding you may lose your sky signal. However, you can arrange to have the dish temporarily fitted to the scaffolding by a qualified aerial engineer.

My garden is my pride and joy, will the scaffold erection cause damage?

We will make every effort to ensure that our activities do not damage your garden shrubs, trees etc.

How quickly can I get scaffolding erected?

This can vary, we do prefer one weeks’ notice to allow us to plan, however, if it is an emergency we can attend immediately.

How do I get a pavement permit?

We can arrange any or all of the permit requirements for you at a small cost, allowing you to relax in the knowledge that your project will be compliant with current regulations.

What is a pavement permit?

A permit is required by your local authority when a scaffold will be occupying a public footpath or road.

How much does scaffolding cost?

It all depends on the size of your project and how long you will require the scaffolding. Contact us and we will happily give a free site visit.
